Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 7, 2026
This policy explains what INITIAL TECHNOLOGY LTD, trading as CHES.TF, collects when you use the site, and why. We are the data controller. Our address is 74 Knighton Drive, Woodford, IG8 0NZ, United Kingdom, and you can reach us at support@ches.tf.
Also see the Terms, Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Imprint. Questions go to support@ches.tf or the Support page.
What we collect
When you sign in with Steam we receive your Steam ID, profile name, and avatar. If you set one, we store your trade URL. We store your orders, the items in your site inventory, balance records, and the payment references we need to process or refund a payment. If you request a withdrawal, we store the payout details you give us.
Card and PayPal details are collected by Stripe and PayPal, not by us, and we never store a full card number. We receive a payment status, an amount, and a reference we can match to your account.
We collect technical data such as IP address, browser type, and the pages you open, so we can run the site, limit abuse, and investigate disputes.
Why we use it
We use this information to sign you in, deliver and receive items, keep balances, take payments, pay withdrawals, handle refunds and disputes, check identity when we ask for it, meet legal duties, and protect the service. We rely on the contract with you, our legitimate interest in preventing fraud, and our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
Who else receives it
- Valve (Steam), for sign-in and trade offers;
- Stripe and PayPal, to process payments and refunds;
- our hosting and database providers, which store data on our behalf;
- professional advisers or authorities, when the law requires it or when we are investigating fraud.
Some of these providers process data outside the United Kingdom. When they do, we rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as standard contractual clauses.
Cookies
We use cookies that are needed to keep you signed in and to protect the site. We do not use advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep account and transaction records for as long as the account exists, and afterwards for as long as we need to finish payments, resolve disputes, and meet legal record-keeping duties, usually six years for transaction records.
Your rights
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive a copy of it. Write to support@ches.tf. We may keep records we still need for a payment, a dispute, or the law. Steam profile data is controlled by your Steam account. If you are unhappy with how we handled your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Children
The service is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger.
